COVID-19. Please bring your own waterproof jackets as we cannot provide these during the present covid-19 outbreak. Customers are also advised to provide and wear their own PPE.
Bookings for only 2 people who are not from the same household are not permitted during Covid-19 restrictions.
If your booking is for only 2 persons with different surnames you are also confirming these are from the same household. For larger bookings with different Surnames the number of different households must not exceed two. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if this is not the case.
The skipper will wear PPE and one person on each trip will be designated as a crew member and fully briefed on emergency procedures before departure.
Lifejackets will be cleaned after each trip.
All the above only applies whilst Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
General Terms and Conditions
Please be advised that certain trips may involve drop off and pick up on rocky beaches and at times a steep climb on loose stones.
If you have any disabilities please advise us and check with us you are able to cope with getting on and off the boat for the trip you have booked well before the date of your booking so as to avoid any cancellation fees.
Passengers must pay attention to and comply with all regulations relating to the safety and security of our vessel and other passengers.
All Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner that respects the health, comfort and safety of all other Persons on board our vessel including members of the crew.
No persons under the age of 12 will be permitted to travel on Charters or participate in any courses unless accompanied by a parent, Guardian or School Teacher.
Passengers are also expected to comply with all reasonable requests made by a member of our staff. If a Person does not so conduct themselves or if in the opinion of the person making the request, a Persons’ conduct gives rise for concern, we reserve the right to prevent that Person from embarking, or may require them to disembark. No refund will be given for persons deemed to be in an unfit state to travel.
Where trips are arranged for a specific duration of time, failure to be at the point of departure at the agreed time for the return journey may result in your return trip being cancelled and no refund will be given and you will have to make alternative arrangements for your return trip. We often have other charters booked later on the same day so if you miss your departure time the vessel will leave without you.
Where trips involve visiting French ports including but not limited to Carteret and Chausey, the person making the booking is required to provide us with full names, passport numbers, dates of Birth, nationality and place of Birth details for each passenger by a seperate email to email@example.com at least 96 hours before time of departure. We have to notify both French and Jersey immigration departments 48 hours before departure. Failure to provide these details will result in booking being cancelled and no refund will be given.
We will not refund any money paid in respect of a Passenger prevented from travelling as a result of their failure to comply with these terms of this Conditions.
Any damage to our vessel or misuse of any equipment by persons onboard our vessel will be recharged to the person who booked that passenger or passengers on the trip.
We shall have no liability whatsoever to any Person as a result of cancelling their travel for failing to comply with the provisions of these Conditions.
If you cancel a booking after it has been made there will be a minimum cancellation fee of 25% of the original amount paid. This covers Paypal fees and administrative costs of making the refund.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the trip will attract a cancellation fee of 50% to cover lost bookings from other people due to your original bookng.
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the trip will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the amount paid.
We reserve the right to cancel trips due to adverse weather conditions or due to a mechanical failure of the boat. Where we are forced to cancel trips you will be offered an alternative date for your trip. Should you at that time decide to cancel the trip completely you will be refunded the amount you paid less the Paypal fees of 5% of the original amount paid.
